About This Site

This site may be just a personal homepage/blog, but it is much much more to me. This site is my baby, my direct expression of self on the World Wide Web. This site was a major project for me and I have and will continue to put countless hours into it.

Technical Specifications

I have attempted to code this site entirely in Valid XHTML 1.0 but it definately isn't perfect yet. The layout is done entirely in CSS, which isn't coded perfect yet either. Probably the most significant CSS design concepts i used was Faux Colums. I wanted to stay away from MovableType, so I opted to go with WordPress to publish the site. I am moderately pleased with the result thusfar, but there is still a plethora (god I love that word) of work to be done.

Inspirational Resources

There are so many people to thank for getting this site up and running. First of all, I have to thank Andrew Loe for the VERY valuable web-space he has given me. Secondly, I would say the biggest influence to me for this design has been Dan Cederholm, especially for his article on Faux Columns, and his website in general. Others that have contributed helpful articles include Eric Meyer, Jeffrey Zeldman and Dave Shea. Basically, I think credit goes to everyone from A List Apart. Alright, thats enough name-dropping and brown-nosing for now.
